That's right, stp (aka "gimp-print") is a driver mainly used for photo printing, but it works exceptionally well on other stuff, too. The main problem is the speed (or the lack of, actually). For low-resolution printing I think uniprint can be used as a replacement, it's much faster at the expense of poor dithering. You can even use the stcolor driver (which does really well on grayscale output), and there's also a driver especially for the 880 (I think it's called st880). Just get 'em all and try... Michael
