message: I got the 880 working by using stcany_h.upp
as the filter. Then I plugged in a density command
for gs via apsfilterrc. Now I want
to try the stp filter through 
apsfilter. It is not one of the
choices in SETUP even though it is
compiled in to gs. I can add it to the
gs options in apsfilterrc but will it override the option
already supplied by apsfilter?
Or should I modify apsfilter itself?

I tried some of the other apsfilter
alternatives offered by sourceforge 
but couldn't get them to play nicely.
