I could not find any reference to ghostscript add-on either
during the SETUP procedure or in the text of the SETUP file. 
Really all I want to do is tell apsfilter to use the stp driver with
certain parameters. There are 250 +/- combinations listed but no Epson
Stylus 880, no ghostscript add-on, and no stp. This is with a fresh copy
of the 09 09 2000 snapshot file. The printerdb has no entries either.

Can I just create a link-file in the filters directory with the name of
the desired driver in the name? this seems to be the mechanism in the
existing link-files. Something like
   
aps1-stp-letter-auto-default ??
