When will stp driver be supported?

The development version of apsfilter is still the 090092000 version
which doesn't support the stp driver (gimp driver).
The stcany driver can be made to work on my Epson 880 but it
wastes ink and prints too heavily. 

When will a new version supporting the stp driver, or another
driver specific to the Epson 880, be available? Some have said that it
is available now but the release has not been updated on the site.
