Re: apsfilter 6.0-devel: Doesn't print!

Hi Andreas,

I took care of the problem - it was cos I set the option which asks for
monochrome or color printing to mono (1bpp) and this was causing the
problem. I wanted to basically print in B&W as the color cartridge is out.

I'm now having another problem for which I can't find any documentation on
the man pages or on the web. I'm trying to setup Duplex printing and it
does print the even pages but after that I don't get any email with the
key etc. I'm guessing that this is cos there's some file which I have to
edit of apsfilter where I have to specify the host settings like IP or
name or so.. (thing is I work on a linux machine that is on an LAN with my
desktop which acts as my mail server using IP forwarding.. so I don't
really have a proper domain name for my linux machine). I saw your
Change-log which says a send_mail function has been written, so I
downloaded the current (9/1/2001) version of aps but still don't see where
this is being implemented.

Can you please let me know what I need to do to get the email part
of the duplex printing working? Have been trying to do this for the past 6
hrs non-stop!

Thanks,
nirmal
