DUPLEX Print not available

HI,
I tried to use the duplex option of your very cool tool apsfilter.
I use debian linux, gs-aladin 6.50.
The first run of the duplex print is ok.
lpr -P printer -Z duplex file 
then I get the mail with the command to continue
echo 'user@domain.de: 290374jke985234hnkfeh923z49hnbie8414z9
+/tmp/apsfilter30264/header1' > '/tmp/duplex.printer'

but when I enter the command nothing happens :-(((

I tried many different things but still nothing happens :-((

Is this a known bug, or am I to stupid to use your tool in the correct way ?
