it seems that the bug is not in apsfilter but in the lpr used ... I've set up an entry in the printcap with a filter as following : ----------------- #!/bin/csh -f echo xxx $0 xxx $* yyy >> /tmp/zub.log ----------------- and no args are transmitted to this script ... So my question is : what should I have to do to use apsfilter on a linux box ? which lpd/lpr should I have to use ? lprng ? another one ?
