If you have trouble with drivers, you have to talk to the people
who are coding these drivers.

Nothing, it's somebody else's problem...

What means not immediately ? 10 seconds ? 1 minute ? 1 hour ? 1 day ?

Unix has a printer spooler ... but it is fast.

Please take into consideration, that the speed of a print job depends on
certain things:
	- CPU power
	- RAM
	- kind of file
	- print resolution, color depth ...

The file first has to be converted into postscript, so it has
to run through 1 or two filter programs. Then it get's piped through
ghostscript. This needs time ...

Next time more facts please and use the form described in
HOWTO-BUGREPORTS, that my "guessing time" gets reduced a bit.

As always, use the latest apsfilter 5.4.2 AND the patches.
In apsfilter 5.4.2 gs reads the print data faster, because
"-_" has been chosen for "stdin" (see gs docu). But you actually
need gs 6.x

And please subscribe to the apsfilter-help mailing list...
