strange header in every printout

Hello

I have a small problem with apsfilter. On every page(s) I print (be it
PostScript file with ghostview or a pdf file with Adobe Acrobat or just
plain text), apsfilter puts a header on the first line of the paper, like
this:

%%[ stcolor.ps: interpreted not by Aladdin Ghostscript - ignored ]%%

Apfilter version (incl. in Slackware 7.1): 5.0.1
Linux kernel: 2.2.16
Printer: Epson Stylus color 440

I have had the same problem with previous versions of apsfilter than 5.0.1
also. 

wonder what it's all about? not a very serious thing, only slightly
annoying feature :) otherwise great piece of software!
