It seems that the printer spooler tries to use some user id for
printing that is not present on the system.

Usually these are daemon, lp, bin, wheel or root. Please have a look
at the spooler configuration (in the case of LPRng: /etc/lpd.conf)
and see if there's a "user" setting.
