I was using GNU Ghostscript 5.50 so I thought I'd give 6.50 a try,
nothing ventured nothing gained etc.

No they're not ejected properly. There's no :sf: entry in printcap but
I've tried the line: 

:ff:\f\

in printcap but with no joy.
