Not sure if it's the same issue, but I had this problem a while ago and it
turned out that I was using an old version of a2ps.

I got new one and it worked fine.

The thing that killed me was that 4.3 is OLDER than 4.13.  So it's "four
point thirteen", not "four point one three".

Anyway...might help, might not, but it can't hurt to have the latest
version of a2ps anyway.
