Hi, apsfilter helpers.
I am running Slackware 7.1
I am using an Okipage 6e printer, attached to a
parallel port. I have a new motherboard so the
parallel port is pretty moden.
Linux reports the following as it boots:
parport0: PC-style at 0X378 [SPP,PS/2]
lp0: using parport0 (polling).
The Okipage is in LJ4 mode; I put it there with the
DOS utility. All old DOS LP4 software works OK.
I ran /usr/lib/aspfilter/SETUP and then test printed
the tiger and all was good.
Next I went to Netscape and tried to print a page: I
selected:
Print command: lpr
A page (actually about ten pages) printed out, but it
looks like PS code.
That's all I know.
Is there something else I should do like edit my
/etc/printcap file? There are no apsfilter stuff in
my /etc/printcap file at the moment.
Thank you all for your help,
