Why ? Wrong mailer ? I have mutt and simply type the letter 'g'
which stands for group reply ...
If your mailer isn't that easy, you should look for a less
painful mailer ...

hmm

People who are new to a software tend to not immediately
subscribe to a mailinglist. If they need help from a mailinglist
they usually simply write to the list to see, if its useful.
Other people fear much mailinglist traffic.

If I would configure majordomo that way, he would set a
Reply-To: <mlistname>@apsfilter.org into the mailheader.

The result would be lots of help to <mlistname>@apsfilter.org,
but not to the user who isn't subscribed to the list.

I think I can't force people to subscribe to a list, but don't
want be so unfriendly, not to give them the help of a mailinglist ...

So figure ... I don't want to enable that feature...

And I see it the other way around ...
I don't want to be the only person, who has to answer to people
who have an apsfilter problem and don't want to answer questions
again and again.

People should also make use of the mailinglist archive, which
is ready for keyword search ...

Therefore people should use the list and use group replys...

What crappy mailer do you have, so that you aren't able to
do a group reply ???

Even Lotus notes, which is crappy in other ways, has at least
a knob to push "reply to all people".

I hope you understand my position better now ...

What do others think about that ?
