LPRng greatly proftis from the "filter_stderr_to_status_file" setting in
lpd.conf.
Unfortunately, the "log" file isn't actually the place where debugging output
is sent to, but rather the "status" file in the spool directory; the spooler
"log" will only contain internal LPRng logging information.

I'm sure as long as some Germans are on this list, humor will never have
the slightest chance... :D

But seriously: debian is considered to be a distribution where the
maintainers have actually switched on their brains before releasing stuff...
