 When I get a change [probably mid-next week]  I'll install berkeley
lineprinter scheduler.

 Can you suggest a version?

 I will get to the bottom of this and post the solution.

Possibly lprNG needs other settings in /etc/printcap as well or
writes it to another place.

Seems to me that we need a LPRng FAQ or something like this ...

Well I start to dislike LPRng concerning that.
I have nothing against enhanced functionality and options ...
But why the hell are they not compatible concerning debugging
output and such ....

Can you install the berkeley lineprinter scheduler ?
