Thanks for all your responses. I trying to schedule in some time to upgrade my GhostScript to version 7 so I can take advantage of all the features of apsfilter. Hmmm...I might be upgrading X as well... You should upgrade ... newer versions of apsfilter give you more comfort and you don't need to run filtersetup anymore. Additionally the list of supported filetypes only refers to the latest apsfilter version.
