Yes.  It prints in color, now, but only if I'm in strictly 
console mode (not from any program under KDE) and I can print 
not a damn thing without first saving it to a text file (so I'm 
back in black and white) and then calling ghostscript to print 
it.

It seems that apsfilter, which served me so well with every 
other printer I've owned, is simply unable to select a proper 
pcl3 or to make it the default with ghostscript -- at least with 
version 7.0.  Any help?
