If I were you, I'd try to connect the printer locally first, to become sure, that you have choosen the correct gs driver for the printer. Connect locally to get a feeling what gs driver you really need and then move step for stepp forward. > Doesn't anyone have any ideas? :( AFAIK those print boxes have different ports where CR/LF conversion might take place. Try to sort out if there is a "raw" port on the print box. Additionally read this from the Linux printing FAQ concerning remote printing to a HP remote printer... They also use a printer queue "raw" on that remote printer !!! http://www.linuxprinting.org/howto/network.html#NETWORKED-PRINTERS Perhaps try to get a remote printer box from HP, they should sell good quality boxes only to see if it makes a difference. But thats a last resort action...
