What distribution are you using (Red Hat, Suse, Caldera, Debian, Slackware
or ?)?  What version of ghostscript (gs) do you have?  What version of
apsfilter do you have?  Did you do a full install or a partial one?

Let's start from these questions (and others that some might suggest) and
we can go from there.
