nothing at all

I installed apsfilter-6.1.1 on my slackware 2.2.19 system 
and now printing doesn't work at all. I have read the docs 
and faqs and everything else I can find but still get nothing.

I had an older version of apsfilter working fine but now I can't
even print ascii files.

I enabled logging and get no logging information.
All I get is some info in the status.ascii file under the
/var/spool/lpd/ljetplus...   directory and it says the following:


IF filter 'aps-ljetplus-letter-ascii-mono' filter msg - 'Make_passthrough:
pid 1817, execve '/usr/lib/apsfilter/filter/aps-ljetplus-letter-ascii-mono'
failed - 'No such file or directory'' at 2001-09-01-15:18:46.836 ##
A=larrywyb@larry+814
number=814 process=1816

The execve line above calls something that does not exist, 
/usr/lib/apsfilter is there but the rest of the line isn't.

So does anyone have any ideas?
