Did you perhaps still use the old entries in /etc/printcap ? Did you (a)dd or (o)verwrite the entries in /etc/printcap when installing with apsfilters SETUP ? Please write your /etc/printcap to the mailinglist. Did you enable debugging in apsfilter ? uncomment set -x in ...../bin/apsfilter.
