-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Okay. Following the useful advice I got from others, I got gimp-print-4.1.99-a3 and apsfilter 6.51. I installed gimp-print - --without-gimp, added the $(DD)stp.dev to the makefile (unix-gcc.mak) and the contrib-mak-addon.in to contrib.mak, as per instructions (much easier than the older version). I installed ghostscript and typed gs -h and, sure enough, there was "stp" in the list of supported printers. So, naturally, I ran apsfilter, selected the 777 which gave the proper driver, got the /dev/lp0 selected (I tried printing from a console window and it worked just fine). However, when I ran the Test print, it bombed with these messages: Current allocation mode is local Last OS error: 2 GNU Ghostscript 6.51: unrecoverable error, exit code 1 Command terminated by signal 13 I have no idea what the error means or what to do about it. Can someone give me a hand here? - -- Robert Black Eagle Bus Site: http://www.desertsilver.com Keep Private Mail Private: PGP or GNUPG Fix YOURSELF: http://www.hamr.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7nXu3tjSYKkYJrmcRAkegAJ9tnIfM14BYi12xAOhwABO4RjRWnQCePyLg u6fRd4cC1naAB8cOdJyY4C8= =zZQN -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
