I use PS instead of PCL mode. Try the Ricoh site for a script that might be of help. They have a script for remote access using various flavors of Unix, (HP etc.) Linux not being one of them. I have the opposite problem. After a print job is finished the "Data In" light keeps flashing. Sometimes the next job will clear it, sometimes I have to clear it by pushing reset, and sometimes I have to turn the bloody thing off and on again. And when I stretch its capablity (eg. four pages 11x17 full of graphics) it gets very slow and temperamental. But it was very cheap for an 11x17 laser printer :-) John Culleton
