ask SuSE (was Re: problem "apsfilter: printer fault during job stdin")

From your log I see you are using SuSE Linux.

You don't have the real apsfilter (not my product).

So please ask SuSE for support.

And please tell them, that they should change *all* references
to apsfilter in their product. People like you are confused about
whom to ask in case of trouble.

History: SuSE started with apsfilter in the past, but modified it heavily
for their own needs. So its not apsfilter anymore since years.

In the first step they promised me, to make a big note in some files,
that you don't ask for support here (since susefilter is not apsfilter).

But that doesn't seem sufficient for me. Best would be they remove the
name apsfilter from path and script names, documentation ...
They should name it susefilter, like the packagename of their product.

I hope Werner Fink from SuSE, who I think is responsible for the susefilter
package, takes these repeated issues seriously and works towards a change
in their naming of susefilter ...

I know they have a support issue with that, I think with paying
contract customers ... But I also have a problem, that they use
the name apsfilter, since _all_ other internet customers have also
a problem with that ...

It was a bad design idea, to modify my apsfilter so heavily
and still call it apsfilter without an attempt to synchronize
it with the original product ...
