stp is the name of the Ghostscript driver that provides Gimp-Print support, this is required for quality output for most (all?) colour injets on linux; it's homepage is http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net. However, you probably don't even need to visit the page. If your system reports that ghostscript has no support for stp, you need ghostscript that has the stp/Gimp-Print driver included. Try upgrading the version of Ghostscript on your system. Check with your distribution to get a version of ghostscript with stp support. You can check by typing "gs -h" at a command line, which will tell you what drivers are included. >From what I understand, stp/Gimp-Print will be required for decent output on any colour inkjet; if your ghostscript doesn't have stp support, no colour injet will work properly. See, for more details, http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/gs_stp.html Also, see http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=stp
