Can't print

I am using FreeBSD 4.4Stable, and a hp 855c.  The test page printed fine, but in black and white, but when I go to print from the command lpr -Php855c <file>, I get the error:

 

lpr[pid]: cannot execv /etc/apsfilter/basedir/bin/apsfilter

lpr[pid]: hp: job could not be printed

 

I went ti /etc/apsfilter/basedir/bin and ran apsfilter, just to see what would happen, and it came out with this error:

 

apsfilter: can't find apsfilter basedir

apsfilter: Please adjust ./basedir or run SETUP.

rm: No such file or directory

 

my configuation files, when I run SETUP are in /etc/apsfilter, the program resides in /usr/local/share/apsfilter

 

Can anybody help?
