I'm using the same distro with the same printer, and it prints in colour by 
default, whichever driver I use. One problem I had with uniprint and stp driver 
is that the printing is too light, and I could not get a solution in the driver 
docu. I get a better result with stc...something driver (I'll check the exact 
name of the driver, I do not remember exactly).
