Hp 855C

I am running FreeBSD 4.4 Stable, apsfilter from the ports, and gs 6.52. 
 When I print the test page from Setup, it prints fine, but when I print 
from the command line nothing happens, a file is made in 
/var/spool/hp855c/ that contains the infromaton that is to be printed, 
but it never gets to the printer.  What did I do wrong and what does 
anybody need in the way of additional infromation to help.  I have been 
searching for any docs that can help.
