| weirdest thing.. (Samba) |
|
I installed Samba from the FreeBSD ports collection (4.4-RELEASE). Samba
works absolutely smashingly with my Windows 2000 workstation. I even am able to
successfully test print from /usr/share/apsfilter/SETUP However, after I write my configuration file and restart lpd (the stock
BSD lpd, BTW), I can lpr all day, and the jobs will show up in the queue for a
while (and disappear after a couple of minutes), but alas.. no output! Why can I print from the SETUP script, but not from lpr? This seems
very, very odd! |
