printouts are all wrong

I just set up apsfilter for two printers, a local hp inkjet, and a remote 
win98 epson inkjet. My OS if FreeBSD 4.4 and apsfilter-6.1.1. I have the 
entries made for raw and color printing on both, and they both print very 
nice looking apsfilter-test pages. I then went to my email client and printed 
an email and get nothing but raw output of postscript. I guess this means I 
need some kind of filter. I have ghostscript installed. I can't find the 
answer on the apsfilter web page. What do I do to be able to print email 
messages and web pages?
