| Well, you asked for feedback |
I installed the FreeBSD port of apsfilter. I just want to be able to print text files to a networked postscript printer. The SETUP program kept asking me about Ghostscript, I ignored all that. Whenever I try to print I get an email like this: apsfilter fatal error: can't determine the lpd spool directory Please fix your lpd or stop printing to remote printers directly. -- apsfilter, your lpd input filter I just added apsfilter as an if= line to an existing /etc/printcap, the spool directory is there and OK.
