But now I have another problem: gs/hpijs doesn't produce output anymore. :-( There is no relation between this and apsfilter. :-) And this isn't meant as an off-topic question to the list. It's just that want to share my desperation. ;-) <Desperation> I'm really confused. The only thing I did was to uninstall an older version of ghostscript from _another_ dir and several re-compilations and -installations of hpijs and ghostscript. I still can use ghostscript to display .ps and .pdf file and print to other (non-postscript) printers. The only thing that doesn't work is the `ijs' device! Messages like `unable to spawn ijs server=/usr/bin/hpijs' are displayed.
