Did I get this right? You use Samba even though you connect
two Linux boxen? Wierd... :)

BTW: 6.1.1 is rather old (although I doubt anything has
changed significantly w.r.t the smbclient stuff)

It's good that you've attached an error log for us to see what
went wrong there... No, wait... You haven't! :^)

And "the" smbclient command line would look like what?
If it worked perfectly, maybe we would also like to see how
it differs from "our" smbclient command line...

What are the contents of .../apsfilter/QUEUE/smbclient.conf ?
