| lpr doesn't print eps-figures embedded in a dvi file |
Hello again, :-) Could someone explain me this behaviour of apsfilter (7.2.1, lprng 3.8.2)? The situation is: - I have a latex file with a few eps-figures included. - When I look at the dvi-file, the figures are there. - When I do a apspreview on the dvi-file, the figures are there too, as well as when I do an "asp2file" and look at the output with gv. I can also print these pages, and the figures are being printed. - But, if I try to print the dvi file directly, with lpr <dvifile>, the document is printed without the figures. Is it perhaps a path problem somewhere in apsfilter?. AFAIK, the eps files are "loaded dynamically" (as they are) into the dvi (?) Or, of course, the viewer might be responsible for loading the eps files correctly. So my dvi-viewer or gv would take care of it. Any other explanation to this? thanks. -- Camille
