The printout is always Adobe Code 

Hi,

I am using apsfilter on a Sparc Station with Solaris7, printing to a NT
Box with a HP Deskjet510 connected to it. After having installed LPRng,
html2ps, a2ps, gawk and so on, printing of ascii files works fine, but
everything else always comes as Adobe PS code (beginning with #!PS).
I am sure that my gs is not broken, as I can convert any .ps file to a
printer file and print it out with the smbclient command.

Why is the file being sent to the printer as Adobe code???

Any help is appreciated (also in german).
