I finally found the problem: The lpr manpage says that -Ff is the default setting (which I believed :-), but it obviously uses -Fl as default here; so explicitly stating lpr -Ff solved the problem. However, I still havn't found where to configure lpr to take -Ff as default (so I don't have to put it there every time I want to print something). cu Gerrit --
