I see no oddities here... Maybe the message has a format that
is not understood by the a2ps style sheet definition.
There's nothing wrong in the way apsfilter prepares the options
for a2ps (it includes "-g" for pretty printing and "-Email"
for the file format), so it's probably something strange
happening with a2ps. I have version 4.13b and got perfect
results.
