I had the same problem here.

Changing the default resolution in /usr/local/etc/apsfilter/basedir/driver/ljet4
from 600x600 to 300x300 did the job for me.

I think the 4L just has a resolution of 300dpi.

Maybe this changed in the apsfilter release.
