HUGE printing size 

Hello,
I set up apsfilter with my Canon S450 Printer however I seem to have a
problem. The printing size is enormous, whenever I print something the
size of the page is about 2x to 4x as much. Even printing regular text
puts out enormous prints with text that is 4x as large and looks like it
would fit on 2 pages side by side? Can Anyone help?
Im using the gimp-print/stp Canon S450 driver.
I've tried changing my resolution as low as 150x150 but I get the same
size prints.
