| SETUP.cfg - should it not be in .../etc/...? |
Hi, I wonder whether SETUP.cfg file, generated by SETUP script should be moved to "etc" tree. Normally, files going into "share" are meant to be shared by possibly many machines (this is what "share" means, I guess :-)). It is not uncommon that directories like '/usr/local/share' get mounted read-only and even if they are mounted read-write, the superusers from client machines do not have permissions to modify their content. Reconfiguring apsfilter with a local "share" tree does not seem to be a good solution, as it actually means making copies of all apsfilter files on every machine.
