You're right. Not a CVS maven. So, since earlier you'd said that the
pretty-printing feature got lost in 7.2.1, which was what I had downloaded
several weeks ago, would it be possible for me to find 7.2.0 somewhere
as a tarball, and just try that?
Reason is, that again, straight out of the box, with totally clean
installation, I'm getting the odd results; yet per your description
below, you are getting exactly what I DO get with 5.2.0, also clean, no
mods.

I can and will do that, but not sure the utility of it.

Hmmmm. Then, I shouldn't be getting pretty-print with 5.2.0, but I am,
and I SHOULD be getting it with 7.2.1, but I can't. Do these facts
suggest anything you can think of?
