PCL output as text from OS X 

Hi,

I'm trying to set up apsfilter to print from my Mac OS X machine to a HPLJ 
1100 connected to an SMC broadband router (using its lp daemon). I'm using 
ghostscript 7.02 and apsfilter 7.2.2.
The files are getting filtered all right, and the data is getting through, 
but the printer starts printing ") HP-PCL XL;1;1Comment Copyright Aladdin 
Enterprises ..." - it seems that the PCL is not interpreted as such, but is 
interpreted as text.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I tried searching the 
archives and consulting the docs, but couldn't find anything :(
