OK, I'm pretty sure this is an obvious one... but I'm not seeing it. I'm using apsfilter with my main printer, and would like to set up my fax modem as a second printer using efax. I've got efax working with lpd, using their recommended printcap entry: fax:lp=/dev/null:sd=/var/spool/lpd/fax:if=/usr/bin/faxlpr: This works for .ps files. I'd like to integrate it with apsfilter, so I can fax arbitrary files. The apsfilter documentation includes the following cryptic statement in section 4.2.3.1 (generic PostScript printer): This kind of queue is also useful if you want to post-process the output from apsfilter with a third-party printer driver. These packages usually expect PostScript files to arrive at their own printer filter, so that they can call gs and/or their driver. Ummm... how do I postprocess the apsfilter output with /usr/bin/faxlpr? -- Joseph J.
