hpijs installation problem

Hi!

I've got a problem with apsfilterconfig. I tried to install HP 940 (HP
940C) with hpijs as a driver. The printer is attached to the parallel port
of my computer (I have no USB, old computer...). I use Debian GNU/Linux
Potato, partly upgraded to woody (GS 6.53). I have hpijs 1.0.4.

I chose:
    (1) Printer Driver Selection [ijs/DESKJET_940]
    (2) Interface Setup [parallel]
    (3) Paper Format [a4]
    (4) Printing Quality [medium]
    (5) Color Mode [full]
    (6) Print Resolution in "dots per inch" [600x600]
    (7) Default Printing Method [auto]

And then asked for test page printing:
Printing Test page using:
gs -q -dBATCH -dNOPAUSE -dPARANOIDSAFER -dSAFER -r300x300
-sDEVICE=ijs -sPAPERSIZE=a4
-sIjsParams='Quality=0,ColorMode=2,MediaType=0,PenSet=2'
-sDeviceManufacturer=HEWLETT-PACKARD -sDeviceModel='DESKJET 940'
-sIjsServer=hpijs -sOutputFile='/tmp/apsfilter4984/test_page.aps'
setup/test.ps

Creating test page...
unable to set key=OutputFile, value=/tmp/apsfilter4984/test_page.aps
unable to set key=Quality, value=0
unable to set key=ColorMode, value=2
unable to set key=MediaType, value=0
unable to set key=PenSet, value=2
unable to set key=Quality, value=0
unable to set key=ColorMode, value=2
unable to set key=MediaType, value=0
unable to set key=PenSet, value=2
unable to set key=Quality, value=0
unable to set key=ColorMode, value=2
unable to set key=MediaType, value=0
unable to set key=PenSet, value=2
unable to set key=Quality, value=0

unable to set key=MediaType, value=0
unable to set key=PenSet, value=2
unable to write to output, fd=0, count=1000: Bad file descriptor

... the last row repeated infinitely many times.

What was wrong? Can you give me some advice? Thanks in advance.

I have tried other the same 'gs ...' command with a bit different settings
on the root console, still with the same result. I have also tried if the
port was wrong.

Ich hoffe jemanden kannt mir ein bischen hier hilfen.
