| problems printing PS pages via apsfilter/lprng |
I'm having problems printing PostScript pages on my debian/woody based system. I'm using apsfilter version 7.2.2-3. When trying to print a postscript file, I only get the following output on the page instead of the postscript output: Error: /typecheck in --closefile-- Operand stack: --nostringval-- () Printing the testpage from the apsfilterconfig tool worked fine. Here's also some lpq output, it reports an error, and I do not have a clue what it stands for ... omeyer@hedges:~/music/songs/Bluegrass$ lp sont.ps request id is omeyer@hedges+150 omeyer@hedges:~/music/songs/Bluegrass$ lpq Printer: lp@hedges 'pxlmono;r=600x600;q=medium;c=full;p=a4;m=auto' Queue: no printable jobs in queue Server: no server active Status: job 'omeyer@hedges+150' error 'aborting operations' at 23:50:12.797 Rank Owner/ID Class Job Files Size Time error omeyer@hedges+150 A 150 ERROR: aborting operations Any help appreciated. Thanks, Olaf
