problem with html2ps

i have a HP Laserjet 2200-D.  I use apsfilter with printer driver set to 
postscript.  everything works fine except when i tried to print html 
files.

first it was the error msg that i did not have html2ps installed. i then 
installed html2ps (LPD Linux Distribution, html2ps-1.0b3-3.i686.rpm) and 
tried to print again.  it not only wouldn't print, the printer stopped 
accept any input, i had to turn off the printer and turned it back on, 
then the printer would start working again.

i've tried this several times, all got the same result (everytime i try 
"lpr xxx.html", it won't print, and the printer stops accepting any input, 
i'll have to turn it off and on again).  what might be the problem?
