I'd be very, very surprised if there were any tool available that would do that. PS and PDF are both document interchange formats; PCL is a low-level printer control language specific to HP. So there are several tools that would convert to PCL (as the last step in printing); hanging on to a PCL file to convert it back to PS or PDF would be very unusual. You mention it's text; do you mean you've got a file with a lot of text and just a little control codes? In that case, I'd probably go in with Emacs to extract the text by hand. -- Joseph J.
