| Margins anyone? |
Yeeeee haaaa! Finally found the /etc/apsfilter/lp/apsfilterrc file and found that it controls the printer. My margins are messed up in a Slack 8.0 setup with GS5.50. Can anyone point me to a clearer description of how to set the margins? The manual on Apsfilter is very cryptic and I cannot figure it out. An example as to how a page prints off on my Laserjet 5N printer is at: http://www.theramp.net/~ksaves2/example.jpg You could very well help me solve a problem that has plagued me since 1994. I did find some other folks out there with the same problem but they really did not get any answers. If I solve the situation I AM going to write a little blurb on how to fix the problem CLEARLY! I did write a HOW-TO back in December of 1999 on how to get a USR 5687-02 PNP modem to work under Linux. This kind of situation can be aggravating to newbies.
