Who is reponsible for this error? A court case?

No. It is not a court case, it's just that I don't know why my Epson
Stylus COLOR 800 prints the files in text format only.
Say, for instance, if you open up a 'AbiWord' file using 'vi', you see
the file in the ASCII format 'AbiWord' stores its files; well, when I
print from 'AbiWord', I get the print out in the exact ASCII format
'AbiWord' used to store the file, no filtering what so ever.
The same applies to all other applications for example 'Netscape'. In
Netscape, the files are printed with the HTML tags and/or what ever
Scripting that was used to create the page.
Try opening a file that stores a picture using 'vi'; what you see there
is what my printer would spit out if I try to print from 'THE GIMP' or
any other viewer.
This never happened when I was using a earlier version of 'Apsfilter'
or 'GNOME', are there any compatibility problems with this two.

Here are my specs:
Machine: Linux Debian
GUI interface: GNOME 3.0
gs -v: 7.05
spooler: lprng
apsfilter: 7.2.2
line printer spooler scheduler = /var/spool/lpd
spooler's owner: lp
printer driver: stc800p

Note: After installing/configuring apsfilter I execute the printer test
page (choice (T) in the installation menu) and I get a beautiful
picture of a tiger. Which means that apsfilter is OK, right?
